Sir Survive
A top-down wave-survival game. Hordes of slimes and goblins grow exponentially over time, and your survival time is only revealed when you fall.
My role担当
Solo developer: game design, C++ gameplay code, UI, audio integration and builds for Windows and the web.
What I built
- Exponential wave spawner with two enemy types (fast 1-hit slimes, 2-hit goblins after wave 6)
- Attack cooldowns, a 30-second spin attack with a shockwave effect, and hit feedback (flash, screen shake, sound)
- Camera that clamps to the map edges while the player can still walk up to the shoreline
- Resolution-independent 16:9 rendering and a WebAssembly build with Emscripten解像度に依存しない16:9描画と、EmscriptenによるWebAssemblyビルド
- Two maps and a map-select screen; the second map is assembled from the tileset with a 9-slice script2
Challenge → solution
The game had to look sharp on any screen and run in a browser. I render everything to a fixed 896×504 target and scale it with letterboxing, so the same code works on desktop, fullscreen and itch.io.
